(b) Principal Crops:- The Principal Crops in the Block are Paddy, Potato and Arecanut. Area under paddy is 848 feet (approx) and Area under Potato is 500 feet (approx). The total production forecast in the Crop Forecast Report due on January 2002 for paddy is 1018 tones with a yield rate of 1.2 tonnes per hectare while the total production as appear in the Crop Forecast Report due on June 2002 for potato is 4545 tonnes with a yield rate of 9 tonnes per hectare. The approximate area under arecanut is 781 hect and the production as per Crop Forecast Report due on November 2001 is 703 tonnes with a yield rate of 0.9 tonne per hectare.
(c) Fertilizers Consumption, Agricultural form and Implements:-The approximate fertilizers Consumption with the Block per Year is as follows:-

The Agricultural implements widely used within the Block are Moulboard Plough, Rake, Spade, Power Tiller and Water Pump lended by the Govt. Dept. to the Public free of cost which is commonly used by the Public recently.
